Halloween night of 'Halloween Hot Heels' at The Hope & Ruin, with a secret spooky set followed by Carne's 90s revival grunge rock.
Carne takes over the bar at The Hope & Ruin on Thursday 29 October, starting at 19:00. The night is part of the venue's 'Halloween Hot Heels' series, a Halloween special that opens with a super secret spooky set the audience is left to guess before Carne takes over with an electric hour of 90s revival grunge rock. If you're coming for the grunge, you'll have to sit through the mystery first.
The Hope & Ruin is a grassroots music venue and pub on Queens Road that supports Brighton's independent live scene. It's not just for gigs, either: the room also plays host to DJs, art happenings and quizzes, and it's dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend along. Every drink served in the bar is plant-based, and the food comes from a Beelzebab caravan parked outside, which makes it easy to sort dinner before the music starts.

Entry is free, though it's an 18+ night. Once the room reaches capacity, it's one in, one out, so if you want to be there for the secret set, it's worth arriving early. The whole thing kicks off at 19:00 at 10-12 Queens Road, BN1 3WA.
