Tribute show celebrating the music of Genesis and related acts, with Pete Bultitude on vocals and drums.
Genesis Connected play Komedia on Thursday 18 February 2027, starting at 20:00. It's a tribute show that pulls from Genesis and the biggest-selling acts connected to the band: Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Mike & the Mechanics. The set focuses on the late 70s onwards, so you'll hear 'Turn It On Again' and 'That's All' from Genesis, 'Sledgehammer' and 'Solsbury Hill' from Gabriel, 'In The Air Tonight', 'Against All Odds' and 'You Can't Hurry Love' from Collins, and 'Over My Shoulder' and 'The Living Years' from Mike & the Mechanics. It's a broad run through that whole family of records rather than just one band.
Frontman Pete Bultitude leads the night, and he's described as a versatile vocalist and a gifted drummer. That second part is where the show gets its specific hook: he stages the 'double drums' element that featured on every Genesis and Phil Collins tour, so the percussion is a proper part of the performance rather than just something in the background. The whole thing is promoted by Komedia.
