Scottish punk and alternative rock band Gallus perform live at The Hope & Ruin in Brighton.
Gallus play The Hope & Ruin on Tuesday 13 October, from 20:00 to 23:00. They're a Scottish punk and alternative rock band, and this is a proper headline show in a Brighton room, not a festival slot.

If you haven't come across them yet, they're high-energy stuff. Their debut album, We Don't Like The People We Become, came out on Marshall Records, and since then they've played Primavera, Sziget, The Great Escape and SXSW. That's a fair spread of festivals across Europe and the US, so they've spent a good deal of time on the road. Their second album is due out in the summer of 2026, so by the time they hit Brighton in October, it'll have been out for a few months. That means the set should lean on the new material, with the debut songs still in the mix.
They describe themselves as a high-intensity band, and the punk/alt-rock label fits. It's the kind of gig that works best in a room like The Hope & Ruin, where the energy stays close to the stage. If you're into punk and alternative rock, this is exactly the sort of night you'd expect: a full band, a loud set, and a room full of people who've come for the same thing.
It's a ticketed event, and the official listing has the price as TBC for now. Tickets are being sold through DICE, AXS, Viagogo and Resale. The show runs from 20:00 to 23:00 on Tuesday 13 October at The Hope & Ruin, 10-12 Queens Road, BN1 3WA.
