Gaffa Tape Sandy are a garage-punk power-trio based here in Brighton, though they originally hail from Bury St Edmunds. They’ve built their sound around what they call "high-octane hyper rock" and are known for their energetic live sets. Since releasing their debut album, Hold My Hand, God Damn It, in 2024, they’ve been touring extensively, and this date sees them returning to the stage to play a mix of their popular tracks alongside new material. It is a return to the city for the band, who have been active on the road following that 2024 release.
Sharing the bill, Really Big Really Clever bring a different energy to the night. Formed in 2023, this Brighton-based indie-punk outfit describes their sound as a blend of "scuzzed-up riffs and raucous melody," pulling together influences from grunge, punk, and emo. They operate as an indie-punk powerhouse, and their inclusion on the bill alongside Muttering rounds out the evening's programme at the venue. The event is aimed at those interested in the alternative and DIY music scene in the UK.
The show brings together these three acts for a full evening of live music in the city. Tickets for the event are priced between £12.10 and £13.50, depending on where you book. With the doors opening and the music starting at 19:30, the night is scheduled to wrap up at 23:00.
