If you are looking for a way to get active mid-week, there is a regular football session running in Brighton specifically for adults with learning disabilities and autism. It is organised in partnership with VYD, an organisation focused on improving lives through football, and the sessions are designed to be both social and active. The focus is on running through some fun skills work and playing friendly games, all under the guidance of a qualified coach.

The sessions take place indoors at the Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre, located on Moulsecoomb Way (BN2 4PB). They happen every Wednesday morning at 10:00. If you are planning to head down, it is worth noting that the sessions are a paid activity, costing ยฃ5.00 per person. There is also a specific requirement regarding support: if a participant needs one-to-one assistance, they must be accompanied by their own carer to take part.
Looking at the upcoming schedule, there are sessions confirmed for the next few weeks, starting on 27 May 2026. Following that, the football continues on 3 June, 10 June, 17 June, and 24 June 2026. It is a straightforward setup if you are interested in joining or know someone who might be, providing a consistent space to play and socialise in the middle of the week.
