An inclusive indoor football session for adults with a learning disability and/or autism, run in partnership with VYD (Improving Lives Through Football).
Football for Adults with Learning Disabilities runs every Wednesday morning at Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre, on Moulsecoomb Way in Brighton (BN2 4PB). It's an indoor session led by a qualified coach, built around fun skills-based work and friendly games, and it's open to adults with a learning disability and/or autism.
The session is run in partnership with VYD, who describe their work as "Improving Lives Through Football". The focus is on the football itself—drills and small-sided games—rather than a formal league setup, so it's as much about getting out and moving as it is about the sport. Because it's held indoors, it's a reliable mid-week slot that doesn't depend on the weather.
It's an inclusive activity, and if you're someone who needs one-to-one support, you'll need a carer to come along with you. Beyond that, it's a welcoming space for adults with learning disabilities and autism to get on the pitch and play.
