The country pop band First Time Flyers perform live at Patterns as part of their Coming Home Tour, supporting their new album.
First Time Flyers play Patterns on Wednesday 28 April, part of their Coming Home tour. It's a London country pop band fronted by Vicki Manser, Jake Morrell, Poppy Fardell and Tim Prottey-Jones — four lead vocalists and multi-instrumentalists who share the front of the stage rather than huddling behind one. They've built their sound on that: four voices taking turns on the lead and coming together on the harmonies.
The tour follows their new album, Coming Home, which comes out on 2 April, just a few weeks before they hit Brighton. The set will lean on the new material, and their recent single 'Out of Your Mind' has already had a fair bit of airplay on BBC Radio 2. They describe their sound as bridging classic and contemporary country, with heartfelt storytelling and evocative harmonies at the centre.
They've been on the road since they launched to rave reviews in 2023. That first year led to a sell-out tour, plenty of festivals, and a slot supporting Bruce Springsteen at BST Hyde Park. In 2024 they sold out Nashville Sounds in the Round in Birmingham, headlined the Nashville Meets London show at Pizza Express, supported Jamie Lawson for four shows in April, headlined the Country In the Afternoon Festival in London, and played the main stage at Buckle & Boots Festival.
