Club night featuring Shirley Temper and jungle selections from Sequoia and Mayka, presented by Patterns.
Shirley Temper headlines Patterns on Friday 10 July, part of an Ez Junglin night that brings a full jungle line-up to the seafront. Temper takes the main slot, and the rest of the bill is built around the Ez Crew residents: Doublehelix, Indo.P, BSB and GR. Sequoia and Mayka are also on the bill, with the night billed as a club night with jungle selections from them both.
Patterns is at 10 Marine Parade, and the site has a bit of a history with the city's nightlife. It opened in 2015 on the spot of a former art deco hotel, and before that it was Ted Potters Music Bar and the Escape Club. It's carved out a place as a hub for Brighton's underground club culture, and it's a small live venue that's punched above its weight over the years, even picking up a nomination for best club at the DJ Mag awards. The jungle night fits that tradition well enough.
