Erasure, the English synth-pop duo, perform live at the Brighton Centre on their 2027 arena tour, with special guests Ladytron.
Erasure play the Brighton Centre on Tuesday 11 May 2027, as part of their 2027 arena tour. The synth-pop duo of vocalist Andy Bell and instrumentalist Vince Clarke have been together since 1985, when they signed to Mute Records and released their debut album Wonderland in 1986. Since then they've put out hits like 'Sometimes', 'A Little Respect', 'Chains of Love', 'Blue Savannah' and 'Always', and picked up a BRIT Award and an Ivor Novello along the way.
This tour comes on the back of Radio!! Radio!!, their twentieth studio album and first since 2022's Day-Glo (Based on a True Story), arriving as they mark forty years since that first record. It's a bit of a different setup this time around, though: Vince Clarke is credited as the tour's musical director but won't be appearing on stage. He's now living in California and has stepped back from touring, while Bell describes him as 'one of the great loves of my life'.
Before Erasure take the stage, Ladytron will be playing as special guests. For those who know Clarke's history, the name Erasure is only one part of it. Before pairing with Bell, he co-founded Depeche Mode, made Yazoo with Alison Moyet, and fronted the short-lived trio The Assembly. He's been a fixture of British synth-pop since the very beginning, and this tour marks four decades since he and Bell first started working together.
