Electrik Live Orchestra play the Lowther Pavilion on Friday 16 April 2027, starting at 7:30pm. They're a tribute to Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra, and the set works its way through the ELO songbook. You'll hear 'Mr Blue Sky', 'Evil Woman', 'Livin' Thing', 'Wild West Hero', 'Don't Bring Me Down', 'Sweet Talkin' Woman', 'Turn to Stone' and 'Hold on Tight'.
It's a wide reach across the ELO catalogue, and those titles cover a good deal of the ground Lynne built. The original band sat at the forefront of the 1970s British Rock Explosion, wrote 39 top 20 singles and sold over 50 million records worldwide, reaching a following as large as that of the Beatles or Queen. That's the songbook Electrik Live Orchestra is drawing from, and the setlist pulls from the hits that made the name.
Electrik Live Orchestra is billed as one of the best ELO tribute bands currently touring the UK and Europe, and they've gained critical acclaim along the way. They're fronted by a line-up of professional musicians, and the show is suitable for all ages.
