Ed Gamble: Fresh Hell

Ed Gamble brings his new show, Fresh Hell, to the Brighton Dome Concert Hall on Friday 5 March 2027. It's his first stand-up run in a while, and the title fits the mood he's been leaning into lately.

If you've followed him over the last few years, you'll know he's spent more time behind a microphone than on a stage. He co-hosts the award-winning Off Menu podcast with James Acaster, and he's the voice of the visualised spin-offs The Traitors: Uncloaked and Taskmaster The Podcast, as well as the new panel show Unacceptable. He's dubbed himself the 'self-appointed Crown Prince of Visualised Companion Podcasts' — a title that's as much a joke as it is a description of how much of his recent work has been about talking over other people's shows. He describes himself as 'everyone's annoying cousin' and says he's back 'doing what he does best — grubbing his way up and down the theatres of the country and eating peri chicken in the dressing rooms'.

Fresh Hell follows his biggest ever sold-out world tour, which took him across Europe, North America and Australasia. The reviews have been strong, with critics calling it 'comedy gold' and 'consistently eye-wateringly hilarious'. In a 2026 i Newspaper interview, he summed up his approach simply: 'I don't do stuff for the money. I do what I enjoy'.

The show is strictly 14+. Doors open at 19:00, it starts at 19:30, there's a 20-minute interval, and it wraps up around 21:20. Tickets are £34.50, and Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival members save £2.
