The duo Dusky, known for their track Careless, bring their darker sound of techno, house and jazz to Patterns.
Dusky are playing Patterns on Saturday 31 October, their only Brighton date that autumn. The duo are known for Careless, the track that put them on the map, but this night is less about the hits and more about the sound they've been working on lately.
They're bringing their darker side to the set — techno, house and jazz all running together. It's a bit of a shift from the brighter, more club-ready stuff they're often associated with, and the jazz element suggests it'll be as much about the groove as the dancefloor. If you've mostly known them from the radio, this is a better way to hear where they're actually at.
It's a headline show, so it's just the two of them on the bill. They'll be taking the full night, and the set will lean into that mix of techno and house they've built their name on, with the jazz woven through it. It's a good one if you're into the deeper, moodier end of the dancefloor rather than the peak-time stuff.
