An evening celebrating Duran Duran with live vocals, a quiz, prizes and an 80s after party.
Duran Duran - A Celebration comes to Ironworks Studios on Saturday 29 August, a night dedicated to one of the most iconic bands of the 1980s. It's put on by the studio itself, and the music is brought to life by some of Brighton's own performers. The set runs the length of the Duran Duran catalogue, from the big hits that made them famous, like 'Rio' and 'Hungry Like the Wolf', to the slightly more obscure favourites. The whole thing is aimed at every level of fan, from the casual listener to the devoted collector.
There's more to it than just the live takes, too. The evening includes a Duran Duran quiz with a prize for anyone who really knows their stuff, and an 80s disco in the bar that keeps the night going long after the band has finished. It's a full night's programme rather than a single set, so you can stick around well into the late hours if you fancy it.
