S. Holden Jaffe is bringing his Brooklyn-based project, Del Water Gap, to Brighton on Thursday, 19 March 2026. The show at Concorde 2 is part of his 'Chasing the Chimera World Tour', which focuses on his third studio album. If you’ve followed his transition from indie folk to a more polished pop sound, you’ll likely hear the new material alongside familiar tracks like 'Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat', 'Perfume', and 'Small Town Joan of Arc'. It’s a mid-week gig, with doors expected to open between 19:00 and 19:30, and the evening is being put together by FORM Presents, who have also lined up some special guests to open the night.

The venue on Madeira Drive is quite specific about its entry requirements for this one. It’s a 14+ event, but anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult. In terms of getting tickets, they are priced at £25.50, though once you add the various booking fees, the total comes to £29.69. There is a cap of six tickets per booking, so keep that in mind if you’re trying to organise a larger group. For those who prefer to handle things at the box office, they still accept cash and cheques, which is a bit of a rarity these days.
If you’re driving down to the seafront, there is outdoor parking available near the venue. For anyone with specific accessibility requirements, the staff at Concorde 2 can arrange seating if you contact them in advance. One thing to note is the house rule regarding electronics; they have a strict policy against video cameras and recording devices, so it’s strictly a live experience. It’s a straightforward setup for a Thursday night, offering a chance to see how the new 'Chasing The Chimera' tracks like 'All We Ever Do Is Talk' translate to a live setting in a local space.
