Colin Miller, Told Slant and h. Pruz perform live at DUST, presenting the album 'Losin'' which explores themes of grief and loss.
Colin Miller, Told Slant, and h. Pruz are performing at DUST on 3 November 2026. The show centres on the release of Miller’s second full-length album, Losin'. Miller, an Asheville-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, wrote the record as a direct response to the death of Gary King. King was a mentor, business owner, and father figure to Miller for 13 years, and the album serves as a way to process that loss. Miller describes the resulting work as a blend of elegy and celebration, capturing the specific, often contradictory emotions that come with such a significant transition.

The setlist will draw heavily from this new material, including tracks like Porchlight, Cadillac, 4 Wheeler, Little Devil, and Lost Again. There is also a notable tribute to Bruce Springsteen in the song Thunder Road. The recording process for the album involved a specific group of collaborators, including Jake Lenderman, Xandy Chelmis, and Ethan Baechtold, all of whom are associated with MJ Lenderman and Wednesday. Bringing these songs to the stage allows for a different perspective on the arrangements, which were built on the contributions of those musicians. As a multi-instrumentalist, Miller’s approach to the live performance often reflects the layered sound found on the record, providing a clear look at the songwriting process behind these tracks.
The show takes place at DUST, located at 77 East Street, Brighton, BN1 1NF. It is a central location for those familiar with the area. Doors open at 19:30. Tickets are priced between £16.00 and £18.00 depending on the booking platform. The event is open to those aged 14 and over, though anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. It is worth noting the venue's specific address, as it is situated right in the heart of the city, making it accessible for a Tuesday evening show.
