A tribute concert recreating over 20 years of Coldplay hits with production video screens and LED wristbands.
Coldplace are playing Komedia on Thursday 4 March 2027, a tribute to Coldplay that covers more than 20 years of their songs. The set runs from the early days of 'Yellow' through to 'Paradise', 'A Sky Full of Stars', 'Higher Power' and 'My Universe', so it reaches across the band's whole career rather than sticking to one era.
They're not just playing the songs, either. The show is built around the same kind of production you'd see on a Coldplay tour, with video screens and Xyloband-style LED wristbands handed out on entry. If you've seen the real thing, you'll know the drill: the wristbands light up in sync with the music, so the room changes colour along with the songs. It's a good bit of the experience brought down to a club size.
There's a bit of a connection here that you don't usually find with tribute acts: they're the only one to have worked for the band. Phil Harvey, Coldplay's creative director, called them 'pure quality' and said they 'fly the Coldplay flag'. That's a fair bit of backing to have behind you when you're billing yourself as the world's leading tribute.
