Concert by Chuck Ragan, singer-songwriter and leader of Hot Water Music, presenting his album Till Midnight at The Prince Albert.
Chuck Ragan plays The Prince Albert on Friday 22 January 2027, with the set starting at 20:00. He's touring Till Midnight, the record that'll be at the centre of the night.
If you're coming from the punk side of things, you'll know him as the singer and guitarist for Hot Water Music. On his own, he works as a singer-songwriter, and Till Midnight brings together ten songs in that style. Among them are 'Something May Catch Fire', 'Vagabond', 'Non Typical', 'Bedroll Lullaby' and 'Wake With You'. It's a record that sits within the songwriting he's been doing since Feast or Famine in 2007, followed by Gold Country in 2009 and Covering Ground in 2011.
So, if you've followed his solo work from the start, Till Midnight is the latest chapter in that particular run. If you're coming to him through Hot Water Music, this is the stripped-back, singer-songwriter side of the house. The set will be built around the new material, with the older records providing the context.
