Cheap Thrills is taking over The Black Lion on Thursday 13 August, and it's not a one-off — it's the start of a run that keeps going through the end of summer and into autumn. The night runs from 10pm to 2am, with DJs spinning pop anthems and party bangers from the 2000s, 2010s and now. It's built on wall-to-wall hits, a packed dancefloor and drinks deals, and it's an 18+ event.
If you're into the kind of music you can't help but sing along to, this is exactly that. The set draws from the 2000s, the 2010s and the current charts, so you'll hear the songs you forgot you loved and the ones you definitely didn't. It's pop and party bangers from three decades, played back-to-back from 10pm until 2am.
And since it's a regular, you've got plenty of chances to catch it. After 13 August, it returns on 20 and 27 August, then continues on 3, 10, 17 and 24 September, with one final date on 1 October. That's seven Thursdays in a row, so if you can't make this one, there are six more to choose from.
