Candlelight: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

Candlelight brings a tribute to Fleetwood Mac to Brighton on Thursday 16 December. It's part of their wider series of concerts, which they describe as live, multi-sensory musical experiences set in awe-inspiring surroundings. The whole thing is built around the candlelight, so the lighting is as much a part of the evening as the music itself.

As for the music, the set is a tribute to Fleetwood Mac, so you'll hear their songs played back in that same candlelit setting. It's a tribute rather than a full band, and the focus is on the songs themselves rather than a particular era of the band's long history. If you're familiar with their catalogue, you'll recognise the melodies and the arrangements, but stripped back and played in a room lit by candles.

It's worth keeping in mind that this is one of many Candlelight concerts, so the format is the same as the others they've put on: the music is the centre, and the candles provide the backdrop. The tribute to Fleetwood Mac is just the particular programme for this one. If you've been to one of their other nights, you'll know the general idea, and if you haven't, this is a good place to start if you're a fan of the band.

It's in Brighton on Thursday 16 December, so it's a mid-week night in the run-up to Christmas. If you're planning to go, just keep that date in mind.
