A multi-sensory musical tribute to Fleetwood Mac performed by a cast of West End singers and a live band in the candlelight series.
Candlelight: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac is coming to the Royal Pavilion on Saturday 17 October, and it's not a one-off — there are three more dates to follow: Friday 4 December, Saturday 9 January, and Saturday 6 February. It's part of the Candlelight concert series, which takes familiar repertoires and reimagines them by candlelight.
This particular one is billed as a 'Landslide' concert, and the set is fronted by a cast of West End singers backed by a live band. They'll be working through Fleetwood Mac's best-loved hits, with 'Little Lies', 'The Chain', 'Rhiannon', 'Don't Stop', 'Go Your Own Way' and 'Dreams' all on the list. It's a tribute rather than a cover band, and the West End singers bring that theatrical focus to the front, with the live band filling out the sound behind them.
Because it's part of the Candlelight series, the whole thing is performed by candlelight, which changes the feel of the room and the music. The setlist pulls from the songs most people know by heart, so you'll recognise the tracks from the first few bars.
