The influential punk rock band Buzzcocks perform live at Concorde 2 as part of their Attitude Adjustment Tour 2026, celebrating their 50th anniversary.
Buzzcocks are back at Concorde 2 on Thursday 10 December, part of their Attitude Adjustment Tour 2026 - EU edition, which they've billed as 'BUZZCOCKS 50'. They've played the venue before, and they've said they're thrilled to be returning.
The set draws on the new album, Attitude Adjustment, released this year, which they describe as a celebration of resilience, creativity and rock 'n' roll energy. Alongside that, they'll be playing the older songs that most people know them for, like 'Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)' and 'What Do I Get?'. They also lean on Singles Going Steady, the 1981 compilation that's often called the essential Buzzcocks record.
For a bit of context, Buzzcocks formed in Manchester in 1976 and were one of the most influential acts of the first wave of punk, built on crisp melodies, Pete Shelley's biting lyrics and the driving guitars of Shelley and co-founder Steve Diggle. Their Spiral Scratch EP sparked a revolution and paved the way for generations of DIY musicians and independent labels. After Shelley died in 2018, Diggle vowed to keep the band alive through writing, recording and touring, and this tour is the latest part of that. Diggle is the one leading the band now.
