The Los Angeles indie punk four-piece Buckets perform live at The Prince Albert.
Buckets play The Prince Albert on Thursday 22 April 2027, from 19:30 to 23:00. They're a four-piece from Los Angeles, and this is their Brighton date.
They describe themselves as a powerhouse of nostalgic indie punk, and the sound is built on shredding guitar, screaming gang vocals and sharp dynamic shifts across tracks and verses. It's the kind of thing that works best live, where the loud-quiet-loud swings hit harder than they do on record. The band is made up of Tanner Houghton, Sasha Massey, Mitch Rossiter and Hiram Sevilla, who draw on a shared DIY ethos and a good deal of musical experience to put together an emotionally charged live show.
There's a new record to go with it, too. Their long-awaited sophomore album, Horse To Water, came out on 12 June via Slouch Records, so the set will be drawing from that. If you've been following them, it's the second full-length they've put out, and it's the one they've been working towards for a while.
