A night of live music celebrating iconic 90s Britpop anthems, performed live by a lineup of standout artists, followed by a Britpop DJ set.
Britpop - A Celebration comes to Ironworks Studios on Friday 14 August, a night dedicated to the Britpop anthems of the 1990s. It's a live show that pulls from the era's defining bands, with Oasis, Blur, Pulp and Suede all in the mix. After the live set, a Britpop DJ takes over in the bar to keep the night going.
The live part of the evening is handled by Ry Byron, Chris Behan, Paul Diello and Embob, who perform the songs live rather than as a tribute act. They're drawing on the hits that defined the movement, so you'll hear the big ones from the bands that sat at the heart of the 90s scene — Oasis and Blur, Pulp and Suede. It's a broad sweep of the era, and the set is built around the songs most people know by heart.
When the live show finishes, the night doesn't stop there. A Britpop DJ set follows in the bar, so there's a second act to the evening once the band has stepped down.
