Seasonal pop-up market in central Brighton featuring independent creative businesses, local makers, artists, and small batch food producers.
If you are looking for a way to spend a Saturday in Brighton, the Brighton's Makers Market is returning to Jubilee Square this season. Organised by Paper Daisy Events, this outdoor market is set up to showcase a mix of independent creative businesses, local student designers, and established artisans. It is a straightforward setup where you can browse through various stalls featuring art, craft, and design, alongside a selection of small-batch food producers. The location is quite central, right by the Jubilee Library and just a short walk from the Brighton Pavilion, the Brighton Dome, and The Old Steine. If you are coming from the train station, it is less than a 10-minute walk away.

The market operates on a seasonal schedule, running on Saturdays from April through to October 2026. The confirmed dates for this year are 11 April, 30 May, 6 June, 4 July, 8 August, 5 September, and 3 October. Regardless of which of these dates you choose to visit, the opening hours remain consistent, running from 10:30 to 17:00. There is no entry fee for the market, so it is open to anyone who wants to stop by, whether you are just passing through the city centre or specifically looking to support small, independent businesses.
Since the market is held in an open-air space, there are static benches available in Jubilee Square if you need a place to sit and rest while you are there. It is a fairly relaxed environment, suitable if you are interested in seeing what local makers are currently producing or if you simply want to enjoy the atmosphere of the square. Given its location in the heart of the city, it is easy to combine a visit here with other plans you might have in the area, as it sits right in the middle of some of Brighton's most frequented spots.
