Brighton Tattoo Convention

The Brighton Tattoo Convention (BTC) is returning to the city at the end of February, marking its 17th annual edition. For those interested in tattoo culture, this is a significant event, recognized as the UK’s longest-running tattoo convention. It takes place at The Brighton Centre on Kings Road, running from Saturday, February 28th, through Sunday, March 1st, 2026. If you plan on heading down, the doors open at 11:00 am on both days.

This year’s convention is set to be substantial, featuring around 325 hand-picked artists and studios. Beyond the opportunity to see some incredible work, the event also hosts 65 carefully chosen vendors offering a wide range of items, including art, jewelry, and clothing. The atmosphere is rounded out with live music, food and bar areas, equipment suppliers, and various activities like tattoo contests, seminars, and galleries. Speaking of getting in, tickets for visitors have been on sale since late October 2025. A useful change for 2026 is that a single ticket now grants access for the entire weekend. This means you can choose which day to attend, or even return at any point over the two days, as re-entry is permitted throughout. They offer discounts for students and had Early Bird deals available. If you are planning a family outing, entry is free for anyone under 16, though keep in mind that minors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the convention.
