A monthly stand-up showcase featuring female, trans and non-binary comedians from the Brighton scene and beyond, held at the community pub Crossbar.
Brighton Belles Comedy Night is back at Crossbar on Friday 13 November, with another date to follow on Thursday 10 December. Both start at 19:30.
It's a monthly stand-up showcase that runs out of Crossbar, a community pub in the heart of Brighton. The night is built around a revolving line-up of female, trans and non-binary comedians, drawn from the local scene and beyond. Because the bill changes every time, no two shows are the same — you'll get a different set of acts each month.
That revolving door is where the variety comes from. The line-ups pull in award winners, future stars, local favourites and national names, so you're as likely to see a big name as you are someone just starting to make their mark. It's a good way to catch a mix of established comics and newer voices in one evening.

Crossbar itself is a community pub, so it's a proper pub setting for a comedy night. They do wines, draught beer, ciders, cocktails, snacks, coffee and alcohol-free options, so you can grab a drink before the show starts. It's at 22-23 Upper North Street, BN1 3FG. Tickets are £7.00, a guide price.
