Part two of Black Octopus's eighth birthday celebrations, featuring underground techno DJs Kenny Larkin and Rolando.
Black Octopus are celebrating their eighth birthday at Quarters on Saturday 31 October, with Kenny Larkin and Rolando on the bill. It's the second part of their birthday celebrations, marking eight years since the club first started running.
The night brings together two figures from the Detroit techno scene. Kenny Larkin is described as Detroit techno royalty, known for atmospheric, hypnotic sounds. Rolando is an Underground Resistance legend, the name behind some of the most enduring techno ever committed to wax. The club frames them as pioneers whose sounds have helped shape the underground across generations, and the whole night is built around deep, driving, futuristic techno.
