All-female Irish trad supergroup Biird perform live at Concorde 2 in Brighton as part of their 'The Holy Show Tour 2026'.
If you have been keeping an eye on the local music scene, you might have noticed that the all-female Irish trad supergroup Biird is heading to Brighton this spring. They are scheduled to perform at Concorde 2 on Sunday, 31 May 2026, as part of their 'The Holy Show Tour 2026'. It is an interesting addition to the venue's calendar, especially considering the group's relatively quick rise since forming in 2024. They have been gaining attention for their approach to traditional Irish music, which blends instruments like the fiddle, harp, concertina, and synthesizer to create a distinct sound. Their track 'Creepin' is currently highlighted as one of their notable pieces.

The group is quite large, featuring eleven members: Lisa (harp, banjo, vocals), Laura Doherty (fiddle, guitar), Zoran Donohoe (concertina), Sal Heneghan (fiddle, harp), Miadhachlughain O'Donnell (flute, vocals), Nicole Lonergan (fiddle), Niamh Hinchy (vocals, synthesizer), Aoife Kelly (cello), Ciara Ní Mhurchú (fiddle), Hannah Hiemstra (drums), and Claire Loughran (fiddle, harp). Their live performance at Concorde 2 is presented by JOY. Concerts and Live Nation, and it follows a period where they have been active on the circuit, including an appearance on the Late Late Show back in February 2025.
Regarding the logistics for the night, the doors open at 19:30. It is worth noting that this is a 14+ event. If you are planning to attend with anyone under 16, they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. That adult needs to provide valid identification, such as a passport or driving licence, and leave their contact details at the entrance. Both the minor and the accompanying adult will be required to wear a wristband for the duration of the show.
Tickets are currently available through various platforms, with prices fluctuating slightly depending on where you book. You will find options ranging from £25 plus fees to around £29.13, which includes booking charges. Since pricing can vary across different ticket outlets, it is worth checking the official venue or promoter websites directly to see the most current availability and costs before you commit. Concorde 2 has a capacity of around 800, so it should provide a fairly intimate setting for a group of this size.
