Musical project Bibi Club performs live, exploring avant-pop and electronic body music at The Prince Albert in Brighton.
On Tuesday, 7 April 2026, the Montreal-based duo Bibi Club will perform at The Prince Albert in Brighton, marking the beginning of a ten-date tour across the UK and Europe. The project, consisting of Adèle Trottier-Rivard on vocals and keyboards and Nicolas Basque on guitar, will be presenting material from their third album, 'Amaro'. Their sound is characterised by a blend of avant-pop, electronic body music, dark wave, and neofolk, often incorporating elements such as harps, trumpets, and ritualistic vocal arrangements. The album itself explores themes of love, nature, and community, with tracks like 'Infinité', 'Amaro', 'A Different Light', and 'Le Styx' reflecting the duo's recent personal experiences.

The evening’s programme also features two supporting acts. Solid Pleasure, a collaboration between Neave Merrick and Lucy Milani, will contribute their blend of italo disco, synth-pop, and industrial music. They are joined by HI?, a Brighton-based band whose lo-fi psychedelic sound draws influence from artists such as The Chills and Cocteau Twins. The event is organised by Love Thy Neighbour and is restricted to attendees aged 18 and over. Tickets for the show are available at a price point between £12.00 and £13.20, depending on the booking source.
For those considering attending, it is important to note the physical constraints of the venue at 48 Trafalgar Street, BN1 4ED. The Prince Albert does not currently offer wheelchair access, and the performance space is reached via two flights of stairs. Additionally, there are no accessible toilets available on the premises. If you require assistance regarding carer access or have specific concerns regarding the use of strobe lighting during the performances, the organisers request that you contact them in advance at info@lovethyneighbourmusic.co.uk. The event is scheduled to begin at 20:00, providing an opportunity to see these artists in an intimate setting as they launch their 2026 tour.
