Stand-up comedy show by drag queen and comic Bianca Del Rio at Brighton Dome.
Bianca Del Rio brings her It Gets Bitter world comedy tour to the Brighton Dome on Wednesday 31 March 2027. It's a stand-up show, so that's the whole of it: just her on stage for the evening.
If you're not familiar with her, Bianca Del Rio is a drag queen and stand-up comic, and the name is a stage persona for Roy Haylock. She first made a name for herself on RuPaul's Drag Race, where she won the sixth season and became the show's breakout star. The New York Times called her the 'Joan Rivers of the Drag World', and that gives you a fair idea of the territory she works in. She's known as a fierce, funny, and politically incorrect insult comic, and she describes herself as a 'clown in a gown'. Her reputation is built on snarky frankness and impeccable timing, so the insults are the point of the act rather than a side effect.
It's a world tour, so the Brighton date is one stop in a larger run. The show is billed as It Gets Bitter, which fits the persona she's built around that sharp, uncompromising edge. If you've seen her before, you'll know the format: a drag queen doing stand-up, with the insults and the timing doing the heavy lifting. If you haven't, that's exactly what you're getting.
