Concert by the British pop singer-songwriter known for hits like 'Afterglow' and 'Caution To the Wind'.
Becky Hill plays Brighton on Saturday 15 August. She's a 27-year-old British pop singer and songwriter from Worcestershire, and this is her first time in the city this summer.
If you've come across her through the radio, you'll know her as a singles artist. She's been a hit-maker since her teens, as much a songwriter as she is a performer, and she's built a reputation for her vocal range, high energy, and seamless live sets. Her career started on BBC's The Voice, where she reached the semi-finals, and before that she sang with the acoustic rock and roll group Shaking Trees. Her breakthrough came with 'Afterglow', a collaboration with Wilkinson, and her appearance on Rudimental's 'Powerless' at Glastonbury. She's worked frequently with MNEK, who helped her release her debut solo single 'Caution To the Wind' in 2014.
While she's primarily known for her singles, she did release the compilation Get To Know in 2019 and has been working towards her first full debut album. The Brighton show sits in that gap between the singles and the album, so you'll likely hear the songs that have made her a name over the last decade. The set is built around her voice, which is the main thing she's known for.
