Each market brings together over 50 independent artists, creating a varied selection of handmade goods. You will find a mix of photography, ceramics, jewellery, and illustrations, alongside items like candles and various baked goods, including cakes and chocolates. It is essentially a collection of high-quality, handmade gifts. The variety of products reflects the diverse output of the local creative community.
The markets take place at two main venues in the city: the Brighton Unitarian Church on New Road and the Brighton Dome. If you are planning to visit, the next event is on 26 September 2026, running from 11:00 to 17:00. There are several other dates scheduled for the remainder of the year, including 31 October, 7 November, 21 November, and 28 November. The year finishes with two December dates: 18 December, which runs from 16:00 to 20:00, and 19 December, from 11:00 to 17:00.
Entry to all these markets is free. The venues are wheelchair accessible, and if you are heading to the Brighton Unitarian Church, you are welcome to bring your dog along, as that location is dog-friendly.
