Art and makers market with more than 50 independent artists selling art, photography, ceramics, jewellery and illustration in Brighton.
Beau-Events is bringing its Art & Makers Markets back to Brighton Unitarian Church on New Road, with a run of dates that takes you right through to the Christmas break. The first one is Saturday 7 November, 11:00 to 17:00, followed by Saturday 21 November and Saturday 28 November, both on the same 11:00 to 17:00 shift. Then there's a double-header in December: Friday 18 December, 16:00 to 20:00, and Saturday 19 December, 11:00 to 17:00.
Each market brings together more than 50 independent artists, so you'll find art, photography, ceramics, jewellery and illustration all under one roof. It's a wide spread, and the makers who've exhibited there describe the events as packed with great makers and customers. The whole series is billed as one of the best markets in Brighton for an eclectic mix of high-quality handmade gifts, and it's a way to shop small and local throughout the year.
Behind it all is Beau-Events, an Art & Makers platform run by an independent artist and creative based in Brighton & Hove, who has traded with maker Jess since the very beginning. This is part of a larger programme: Beau-Events is staging 13 Art & Makers Markets across central Brighton in 2026, spread over two venues.
