A market featuring over 50 independent artists selling art, photography, ceramics, jewellery and illustration in the North Laines.
Beau-Events are bringing their Art & Makers Markets back to Jubilee Square this autumn, with four dates to work your way through: Saturday 12 September, 10 October, 14 November and 12 December. Each one runs from 11:00 to 17:00, so you've got a full day to wander through without rushing.
Beau-Events is a platform for independent artists and creatives across Brighton & Hove, and these markets are where they actually trade. They run thirteen of them across the city, and each one brings together more than 50 independent artists showing art, photography, ceramics, jewellery and illustration. It's a broad mix, so you'll find everything from prints and pottery to handmade jewellery and illustration in one go. They describe it as one of the best Brighton markets for an eclectic mix of high-quality handmade gifts and a way to shop small and local all year round.
Jubilee Square is right in the North Laines, a Brighton Fringe site next to the city's Jubilee Library. It's a short walk from the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Dome and The Old Steine, and under ten minutes from Brighton Station, so it's easy to get to whether you're coming from the seafront or the station. The four dates are spread out across the next few months, which is handy if you're starting your Christmas shopping early and want to pick things up in stages rather than all at once.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Brighton and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
