British-American rock band As It Is perform at DUST in Brighton, with support from Hell Hotel.
As It Is play DUST on Saturday 18 July, with Hell Hotel on the bill too. It's a Brighton show for a Brighton band, and they're taking the stage at 7:00 pm.
If you're not familiar, As It Is are a British-American rock band from right here in Brighton, formed back in 2012. They've built their sound on melodic, emo-inspired pop-punk and emotive lyrics, and they hold a bit of a claim to fame as the first UK band signed to Fearless Records. Their discography includes Never Happy, Ever After and I Went to Hell and Back, alongside Never Happy, Ever After X, which brought in collaborations. You'll also find singles like 'Lose Your Way & Find Yourself' and 'Marilyn' in the mix.
With Patty Walters at the front, the set will draw from that melodic pop-punk they've been known for since the early days. Hell Hotel opens the night, so there are two bands on the bill. It's a Saturday evening slot, and the music starts at 7:00 pm.
