A city-wide festival where artists open their homes and studios to the public across Brighton and Hove.
The Artists Open Houses festival returns to Brighton and Hove for its 45th year. This unique event transforms the city into a vast, accessible gallery, inviting visitors to step inside private homes, studios, and unconventional spaces to view and purchase original artwork directly from the creators. Spanning four weekends in May, the festival features nearly 200 venues and over 1,000 artists, showcasing a diverse range of disciplines including painting, ceramics, jewellery, and experimental installations. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet makers, discover hidden corners of the city, and experience art in an intimate, informal setting.
