Anton Du Beke brings his festive show Anton At Christmas to the Brighton Centre, featuring music, dance and festive cheer.
Anton Du Beke brings his new festive show, Anton At Christmas, to the Brighton Centre on Tuesday 22 December. It's a brand-new production, billed as a Christmas celebration packed with sparkle, glamour, music and spectacular dancing, and it's the final stop of a UK tour that runs from 10 to 22 December across eight venues, including Watford, Oxford, Liverpool, London, Wolverhampton, Nottingham and Bournemouth.
Du Beke, a Strictly Come Dancing favourite, doesn't take the stage alone. He's joined by vocalist Lance Ellington, their live band and a professional troupe of dancers, so the night is as much about the singing and the ensemble as it is about the dancing. He describes it as a Christmas celebration, and the whole thing is built around that festive spirit.
There's a personal side to it, too. As a father to nine-year-old twins, Du Beke says there's nothing quite like the joy, excitement and togetherness that make Christmas so special, and that it's quite simply the most wonderful time of the year. He leans on his trademark warmth, energy and showbiz charm to fill the room with laughter and festive cheer, and that's a good part of what he brings to the show.
