Angela Barnes headlines The Old Market on Friday 13 November, with Anthony Ayton and Joe Foster on the bill and Guy Lloyd compere. It's a Filthy Gig Dog Promotions and My Charity night, and all ticket profits go to local NHS hospitals in Sussex.
Barnes is a Mock the Week regular who came to stand-up from a career in health and social care, switching in 2010. She won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and has since appeared in 21 series of Mock the Week on BBC Two, as well as Live at the Apollo and Hypothetical on Dave. On radio, she's a regular on BBC Radio 4's The Now Show and The News Quiz — including stints hosting the latter — and Radio 4 Extra's Newsjack. She also co-hosted the podcast We Are History, which has run to over a million downloads.
She's paired here with two Brighton talents. Anthony Ayton is a Londoner who was the first black student at an all-white boarding school, and Joe Foster won the 2015 Fosters South Coast Comedian Of The Year Competition. Guy Lloyd keeps the night moving as compere.

The show is seated and unreserved, so there's no need to rush for a particular spot. Doors open at 19:15, with the show starting at 20:00. Tickets are £18 plus a £2 venue levy.
