Amelia & The Housewives free album launch show at Daltons with Superfriends and DJ Ben Salter.
Amelia & The Housewives are playing Daltons on Saturday 3 October, a free album launch party that comes just one day after their debut LP hits the shelves on 2 October. It's a daytime one, running from 12:00 to 16:00, so you'll be out of there well before the evening rush.
The occasion is the record itself. Amelia & The Housewives have been working towards this debut LP, and they're throwing the party to mark its release. Since the album drops on Friday, the show on Saturday is one of the first chances to hear the new material live, and it's the band's own way of celebrating the milestone. It's a free entry, which makes it an easy one to drop into without much planning.
They aren't playing alone. Joining them are special guests SUPERFRIENDS, who'll take a slot alongside the main set, and DJ Ben Salter, who'll be spinning under his Chains of Love moniker. With three acts on the bill, the afternoon stretches across the full four hours, and the DJ set keeps things moving between the live bands. It's a full afternoon of music rather than a single set, so there's plenty of room to settle in.
