The Pub Landlord returns to Brighton with his brand-new stand-up show, offering his unique common sense hot-takes and ancient pub wisdom.
Al Murray is back at the Concert Hall on Thursday 18 February 2027, returning to Brighton as the Pub Landlord with his new stand-up show, All You Need Is Guv. It's a brand-new set for 2026, and the Landlord is doing what he does best: taking the front rows for a ride. He spends the night befriending and belittling the people closest to the stage, so if you're sitting up front, you're part of the act.
He describes the show as offering "like-nobody-else Common Sense hot-takes for the masses" and a "truth tonic" for troubled times. It's that same pub-philosopher persona he's been honing since the 1994 Edinburgh Festival, the one that's earned him the nickname "the people's man of the people". Over the years, he's taken the character across television and tours, published four books, and built a reputation for serving up unique observations on the state of the country, usually delivered as a bit of ancient pub wisdom. The critics have stayed on board, too: The Times calls it "one of the great joys in comedy" and The Telegraph describes it as "wickedly witty stuff".
There's a specific choice to make when you book. The show features a "Splash Zone" for anyone willing to be right in the thick of the action, so if you're happy to be part of the banter, that's your spot. If you'd rather watch from a safe distance, the standard seats will do you just as well.
