Stand-up show by Ahir Shah, the London comedian behind the Edinburgh Comedy Award-winning show 'Ends' and the HBO special 'Dots'.
Ahir Shah is coming to the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre on Sunday 22 November. It's a solo stand-up set from a comedian who's spent the last few years moving from the Edinburgh Fringe to the big television circuits.
Shah is a Londoner who went to Clare College, Cambridge, graduating in 2012 with a degree in Politics, Psychology and Sociology. He started out at open mic nights when he was 15, and took his first Edinburgh show, Astrology, to the Fringe in 2011. He picked up Edinburgh Comedy Award nominations in 2017 and 2018, and then won Best Show in 2023. Since then, he's become a regular on TV, appearing on Have I Got News For You, Live at the Apollo, The Mash Report, The Last Leg and Richard Osman's House of Games.
He's also built an international following with two specials: Dots, which came out on HBO in 2021, and Ends, his award-winning show recorded for Netflix. The critic Stephen Armstrong called him "the most important stand-up of the year, if not decade."
