Club night presented by the six-piece rock-ish band Absuma at The Hope & Ruin, strictly for over-18s.
Absuma are back at The Hope & Ruin on Friday 22 January, with the night presented by the band themselves. It's a club night rather than a standard gig, and they're the main feature on the bill. The support is still to be confirmed, so for now it's just them on the line-up.
Absuma is a six-piece rock-ish band, and they're the ones putting the whole thing together. The "rock-ish" tag does a fair bit of the heavy lifting there — it gives you a rough idea of where they sit without pinning them down to one particular sound. With six of them on stage, there's a fair bit of room for a full band sound rather than something stripped back.
One thing to keep in mind before you head down: this is strictly an over-18s event, so you'll need to be 18 or over to get in. If you're bringing friends, it's worth making sure everyone's sorted on that front before you make your plans.

As for the timing, doors open at 7:30 PM, and Absuma don't actually take the stage until 9:00 PM. That leaves plenty of time to get in, grab a drink, and settle in before they start. Tickets are £11.36, and the venue is The Hope & Ruin, 10-12 Queens Road, Brighton BN1 3WA.
