Post-punk concert by 60 Juno, presented by JOY.., at The Hope & Ruin in Brighton.
60 Juno play The Hope & Ruin on Monday 16 November, a post-punk night presented by JOY.. The set starts at 20:00 at 10-12 Queens Road, BN1 3WA.
60 Juno is an emerging musician from Merced, California, who's been leading the post-punk scene in the Central Valley. The sound is built on deep, dreamlike melodies, and there's a clear line back to the DIY indie-rock that came out of Southern California around 2016. That indie-rock side sits alongside the SoundCloud era of underground rap, and the two meet in a mix of DIY indie and post-punk, played with a sharp energy and sung in a low, gravelly voice.
