Sunshine Soul celebrate their decade in dance music with a live show at Patterns, featuring Luke Solomon and Marcia Carr.
Luke Solomon and Marcia Carr are playing Patterns on Friday 28 August, the first date of their UK tour. The night is billed as 10 Years of Sunshine Soul, a live show marking a decade of the act in dance music.
It's a pairing of two names with deep roots in the UK club scene. Solomon co-founded Classic Music Company, won a Grammy, and was a creative force behind Defected records. Carr is described as one of the first ladies of the UK club scene and "your favourite DJ's favourite DJ". Together they're taking the tour across the country, with this Brighton date kicking things off.
They won't be the only ones on the bill. Mylo Harvey and Morf are also on the line-up, so the night runs longer than just the headliners. The whole thing is a live show rather than a standard DJ set, built around the ten-year anniversary of Sunshine Soul.
