Leading the charge is the enduring spirit of Madchester and Britpop. Fans of The Stone Roses and Oasis have several opportunities to catch their favourite anthems performed live. You can choose your allegiance on Friday 27 March 2026, when two major shows clash. Over at Patterns, you can catch a double bill featuring The Total Stone Roses and Oaysis for £22.66. Alternatively, if you prefer a broader taste of the era, The Madchester Experience is playing at DUST, with tickets around £17.60 to £18.60. If you miss that date, don't worry, the Oasis tributes keep coming: Definitely Oasis, regarded as one of the best, is set to play Patterns again on Friday 5 June 2026 (tickets £18.15), and Noasis is scheduled for Concorde 2 on Friday 17 April 2026.
Beyond the 90s indie scene, the tribute calendar is packed with acts covering rock legends. For those who appreciate the psychedelic spectacle of Pink Floyd, the UK Pink Floyd Experience is performing soon, on Thursday 19 February 2026 at the Theatre Royal Brighton. Later in the year, the iconic sound of The Smiths will be brought to life when The Smyths play Concorde 2 on Sunday 20 December 2026 (this one is an over 18s event).
Brighton’s venues are also hosting a variety of other nostalgic nights. If you’re into 80s and 90s alternative, Concorde 2 is hosting The Cureheads & Siouxsie & the Budgiees on Friday 13 February 2026. For something completely different, the Daft Funk tribute band is at Concorde 2 on Saturday 7 March 2026, offering a dazzling recreation of the French electronic duo. The trend even extends to ska and mod revival, with The Specials Ltd. playing on Saturday 23 May 2026 and The Jam'd scheduled for Friday 28 August 2026.
It’s also worth noting the unique Candlelight Concert series at the Royal Pavilion, which offers a classical twist on popular music. They have upcoming tributes to Queen and Fleetwood Mac throughout February and April 2026, providing a more intimate and atmospheric way to enjoy classic tracks. Whether you’re looking for a full-throttle rock show or a sophisticated orchestral evening, Brighton’s tribute scene has certainly stepped up its game this year, ensuring the music of the legends lives on right here on our stages.
