Land Beyond is returning to Brighton this year, specifically on Sunday, May 24, 2026. It’s taking over East Brighton Park for the May Bank Holiday weekend, which is a shift from the previous years when it was held at Waterhall Playing Fields. This time around, the organizers are going for a one-day format, calling it a one-off edition that aims to recapture the energy of the festival's 2019 origins. Even though it’s just for the Sunday, the plan is to fit three stages of music into a single massive day party. It’s an 18+ event, so you’ll need to have your ID ready at the gate, and since it’s a one-dayer, there’s no re-entry once you’ve gone through the turnstiles.

The lineup for 2026 is heavily focused on drum & bass and house music, making it a fresh addition to the city's busy event calendar. Aitch is one of the main names on the bill, alongside Hedex, K Motionz, and East End Dubs. You’ve also got artists like P Money, Enzo Siragusa, and Shanti Celeste scheduled to perform. It’s a broad mix of electronic styles, with other names like Sota, Badger, and Lens filling out the stages. Other performers include Grima X Azza, Shabba D, Harry Shotta, Logan D, and Phantasy. If you’ve been to previous editions, you might remember the production levels they usually bring, including 360-degree stage setups and immersive visual effects. In 2024 and 2025, when the festival was at Waterhall, they hosted big names like Craig David, Rudimental, and Becky Hill, and this year seems to be leaning into that same high-intensity rave atmosphere.
Moving the festival to East Brighton Park means a different setup for the city compared to the old Waterhall site. In the past, Land Beyond was known for those powerful searchlights that could be seen from Patcham all the way to Hove and Hanover. While the new venue is a bit smaller, the organizers are still promising a high-impact experience with focused stage designs and technical innovations. It’s worth noting that the festival has a history of council involvement regarding noise levels. Residents in areas like Patcham previously reported vibrations and loud bass, which led to council officers monitoring the volume. For 2026, the festival is operating under specific conditions to manage its impact on the surrounding neighborhood, especially since East Brighton Park is closer to residential streets than the previous location.
Getting to the park will require some planning because there isn't any parking available on-site. The best options are using public transport or a taxi. Buses from the Brighton city center stop at Roedean Road or Marine Gate, which are about a five-minute walk from the entrance. If you’re getting a lift, taxis usually drop off and pick up along Wilson Avenue. Inside, the festival is entirely cashless, so you’ll be using cards for all food and drink purchases. They don’t allow you to bring your own food or beverages, but there are water refill points if you bring an empty bottle. It’s a more condensed version of the multi-day camping experience they ran in 2025, focusing everything into one long day that starts at midday and runs until the late evening.
