First up, the legendary Scottish post-rock outfit Mogwai is set to play the Brighton Dome Concert Hall on Friday, February 20, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 PM for this show, which is part of their World Tour supporting their latest album, The Bad Fire. Fans can expect a deep dive into their extensive 30-year discography. Mogwai will be joined by special guest Forest Swords. Tickets for this show range from approximately £34.95 to £44.95, depending on seating. It’s also worth noting that Mogwai has partnered with PLUS1, donating £1 from every ticket sold to support War Child.
Moving into spring, the Britpop veterans The Charlatans will take over the Brighton Dome Concert Hall on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Doors also open at 7:00 PM for this gig. The band is touring in support of their forthcoming album, We Are Love, and will be supported by The Cords. The Charlatans are known for their energetic live shows, packed with hits like "The Only One I Know" and "North Country Boy." Tickets for this date are listed around £44.50. If you plan on attending, be aware that the venue has an age restriction: under 16s must be accompanied by an adult in the stalls general admission area, and no unaccompanied under 14s are permitted in the venue.
The biggest announcement for the end of the year is the joint co-headline tour featuring two giants of the post-punk revival era: Bloc Party and Interpol. They are bringing their tour to The Brighton Centre for two consecutive nights in late November. The dates are Thursday, November 26, 2026, and Friday, November 27, 2026, with doors opening at 6:30 PM both evenings. This tour celebrates two decades of music from both bands, promising tracks from seminal albums like Bloc Party’s Silent Alarm and Interpol’s Antics.
To make both nights unique, the closing act rotates: Bloc Party will close the show on the 26th, and Interpol will close on the 27th. Tickets for this double bill went on general sale back in November 2025, so they are available now, starting from around £42.50 per show. If you prefer standing, note the 14+ age restriction for that area. This two-night residency at The Brighton Centre is definitely one of the highlights of the 2026 calendar, bringing together two bands whose influence shaped the sound of alternative music in the 2000s. It’s a great chance to catch some era-defining music live right here in Brighton.
