A dedicated yoga session for dads and male carers of children with special educational needs.
Jyoti Manuel is leading a yoga session for dads and male carers of children with special educational needs at The Old School House in Boscombe on Wednesday 30 September. It runs from 7.30 to 8.30 in the evening, and the cost is £20.
If you're not familiar with the place, The Old School House — often called TOSH — is a non-profit based in a Grade II listed heritage building just a few minutes from the seafront. It works as a co-working and events space dedicated to supporting arts career growth and creative activities for the local community, with artist studios, workshops, coworking and space hire, plus a series of courses and classes throughout the year. The venue offers step-free access, onsite parking and kitchen facilities, and discounts for non-profits and community projects. It also runs 'Make Art: Bournemouth', a monthly in-person art group for local people, and the 'Social Canteen', which serves a hot meal after community workshops.

The session itself is specifically for dads and male carers of children with special educational needs, so it's a space for men in that particular position to come together. It's led by Jyoti Manuel, and the focus is on yoga, with the class running for an hour on the evening of Wednesday 30 September. The Old School House is in Gladstone Mews, Gladstone Road, Bournemouth BH7 6BG, and the session is £20.
