The Community Fashion Show

The Community Fashion Show is coming to St Mark's Church Hall in Talbot Village on Sunday 27 September, from 17:00 to 19:00. It's a sustainable fashion show delivered in collaboration with Defashion Dorset, and it sits within two larger programmes: Sustainable Fashion Week 2026 and the Arts by the Sea Fringe.

Defashion Dorset is the main feature here, and they're hosting the show alongside Arts University Bournemouth. The whole thing is part of Sustainable Fashion Week, so the focus is on the more sustainable side of how we dress rather than just a run of new clothes. It's also tied into the Arts by the Sea Fringe, which means it's one of several events happening across Bournemouth as part of that wider fringe programme.

If you're heading there, the venue is St Mark's Church Hall in Talbot Village, on Wallisdown Road (BH10 4HY). It runs for two hours, from 5pm to 7pm, so it's a late afternoon thing rather than a full evening. Entry is £5 for adults and £1 for students and children, so it's easy enough to bring the whole family along without spending much.
