Legendary 2-Tone group The bEAT, led by Dave Wakeling, perform as part of their 21 date UK tour, celebrating the 2-Tone music scene.
The bEAT play the O2 Academy Bournemouth on Sunday 25 October, as part of their DANCE CRAZED TOO UK tour. It's a 21-date run across the country, and Bournemouth is one of the stops. The band is led by Dave Wakeling, and they're coming from the 2-Tone scene, the ska-influenced sound that defined a particular era of British music.

They've described the show as a "taste of 2-Tone", a celebration of the scene that changed their lives and the friends they've made along the way over the decades. It's not just about the music, either — they've encouraged people to "come dressed for the occasion and make a party of it", so if you've still got your old pork pie hat or a sharp suit, this is a good night to bring them out.
The venue is the O2 Academy Bournemouth, at 570 Christchurch Road in Boscombe, BH1 4BH. Doors open at 19:00 and the curfew is 23:00, so you've got plenty of time to get in and settle before things get going. It's a ticketed event, with VIP packages available if you're after something a bit more than a standard entry. If you've followed the 2-Tone sound or the band's history, this is the one to keep on your radar.
